“The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master” KJV.
“A pupil is not superior to his teacher, but everyone (when he is) completely trained (readjusted, restored, set to rights, and perfected) will be like his teacher” AMP.
“A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher” ESV.
WHAT IS DIFFICULT IN THE WORD OF CHRIST ABOVE IN UNDERSTANDING HOW HE BECAME GOD AND HOW SCRIPTURE ASCRIBED SONS OF GOD TO US THAT BELIEVE? PSALM 82:6, JOHN 10:34.
How did Moses became son of God if not that he humbled himself before God and received all the training God gave him in Egypt and Median? What of father Abraham, King David, Joseph, Job, Samuel, Elijah, Joshua, these are God’s suffering servants in whom the spirit of God rested that executed the Testament of God in their flesh to save their generation before Christ was sent. God has a testimony that these men pleased Him. Why all these doubt and insult on Christ the Messiah Who came for the Lost Sheep of the house of Israel? Matthew 10:6. It is now a generation to get yourself humbled to receive the Holy Spirit training, by accepting Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour to enable you to please God. He will disciple you with His spirit and the holy Scriptures to be a perfect man that will qualify as sons of God.
CHRIST IS THE GREAT TEACHER, BE AS YOUR MASTER.
